Having learnt about the opening of the new bed 4 loop at Woolston Eyes on our recent visit there when we did not have time to do that as well as the main site, we decided to return a few days later to check it out.

The first birding group outing of the Spring Term was to Penningtion Flash on a lovely, sunny morning. In all we got half a dozen new year ticks and also had a chance to visit the new cafe and toilets that have recently opened there. What more could you wish for?
