Summary
A trip up to the Wrral on the 2nd of December was particulaly fine because it got us a year tick Great Northern Diver at West Kirby Marine Lake but we also had good birds at Parkgate and Burton Mere Wetlands and a couple of days later, with the birding group visit to WWT Martin Mere we also got a year tick Barn Owl.
The rest of the month was given over to winter colds and other ill-health, poor weather and Christmas preparations. We did manage one last blast to the Wirral on the 30th and a nice day if not too fruitful.
