Nothing to summarise !!!

All birding was off in July as we underwent a historic heat-wave that kept us restricted to sun-bathing in our back garden. It wasn’t all sunny though as I spend a good part of the month clearing our cellar so we could get a combi boiler installed. This led to other complications and we had to start on refitting our bathroom. With one thing and another we never got going and were content – between plumbing crises – to take the sun in case it was the last summer for a while!

    The summary for July is simple – no birding at all apart from the back garden. This was due to a combination of wet days, hot days and all the birds laying low in the countryside after the breeding season.
