Alcudia Old Roman Ruins

In the morning we went to Alcudia and did some bird watching around the Roman remains. We got our first Hoopoe of the holiday – in fact, three! Other than that, though it was a bit disappointing. Perhaps we are a bit later this year but the Redstarts we expected to see were nowhere around. There were Stonechats aplenty but, apart from the Hoopoe, it was disappointing.

We headed back to Port de Pollenca and had a walk around La Gola but we the visitor centre was closed so we missed Cristina who we were to go birding with the next day.
