Birding Group – Pennington Flash 26th September 2017

The last birding group date of September was to Pennington Flash. It was a pleasant day but we didn’t see an awful lot. The highlights were a very nice – and relatively close – group of nine Common Scoter. This was possibly the closest view I have ever had of Common Scoter and the first at this site..

Apart from that we got a year tick in the shape of a pair of Willow Tits at the Bunting Hide.
