Chorlton Water Park : 7th February 2016
I wanted to go back to Chorlton Water Park to try to get some decent photos of the Scaup that has been there in recent days. I went round to the far end of the island but it was reluctant to come out from the safety of the overhanging tree braches. I did get some photos but none of them very good.
There was also a nice pair of Goldeneye and a small group of Siskins in the tree above us. We had a quick walk up to the bridge that leads over to Kenworthy Woods and from there we got views of a few Ring-necked Parakeets flying overhead and then perching on a tree further down the river.
We returned to the car park and we were pleased to get close views of four Parakeets; two of them took flight but the other two remained while I got some better photos than I had managed earlier.
